By downloading, installing, or using Philocutis ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Philocutis regarding your use of the application.

Description of Service

Philocutis is a personal health tracking application designed to help users:

• Document and track skin conditions over time
• Log symptoms, medications, and environmental factors
• Generate reports for healthcare provider consultations
• Receive AI-assisted insights about skin health patterns

User Accounts

To use certain features of Philocutis, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Not share your account with others

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Upload malicious code or harmful content
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to Philocutis (photos, notes, logs). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the service
• Generate reports and insights based on your data
• Backup your content for data protection purposes

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

Intellectual Property

The Philocutis App, including its design, features, algorithms, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Philocutis and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Philocutis is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI insights or any health-related information
• We are not liable for any health decisions made based on App information
• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (if any)
• We are not responsible for data loss, though we take reasonable precautions

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Philocutis and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Philocutis at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Conduct that may harm other users or the service
• Extended inactivity
• Any other reason at our discretion

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of Philocutis shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
